Homicide Detectives Investigate Death Of Male Infant In Lennox

LENNOX (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Thursday investigated the circumstances surrounding the death of a male infant in Lennox.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday to a home located in the 4000 block of West 105th Street for report of a baby not breathing.

Upon their arrival, authorities noticed the baby was unresponsive.

Paramedics transported the infant to a hospital where he later died. The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office will determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
