President Obama & Lin-Manuel Miranda Collaborate In An Epic Freestyle

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - President Obama and the creator of "Hamilton" Lin-Manuel Miranda collaborated on an epic freestyle in the White House Rose Garden.

The cast of "Hamilton" visited the White House Monday to perform several of their hits from the Broadway show in the East Room in front of the President, First Lady Michelle Obama, and other attendees.  When the performance was over, President Obama asked Miranda outside to perform something a little less formal.

Miranda was given a microphone, while President Obama held up cue cards with various government-related words written on them. The words on the cue cards covered topics ranging anywhere from "Oval Office" to "Obamacare".

The talented Lin-Manuel Miranda free-styled through all of the cards with ease, leaving the President bobbing his head to the lyrics and beat throughout the entire performance.

The freestyle was so impressive that Obama ended the lyrical rendition with a handshake and stated, "You think that's going viral? That's going viral."
