Body Found In Parked Van Near Hollywood School

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A man's body was found Tuesday in a van parked near a high school in the Hollywood area, but foul play was not suspected in the death, police said.

The body was discovered at about 7:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Wilton Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The van was parked near Bernstein High School, but there was no apparent connection with the school, police said.

The man's age, name or cause of death was not immediately released. The older-model brown van apparently had been parked at the location for a couple of weeks, Officer Jane Kim said.
