Reactions Now Available To The Public On Facebook

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Facebook has released an extension of their Like button called "Reactions" which will make it easier for the user to express how they feel about a post with a simple click of a button.

"We've been listening to people and know that there should be more ways to easily and quickly express how something you see in News Feed makes you feel," a statement from Facebook said announcing the social media giant's decision to release the feature.

In order to use Reactions, users can hold down the Like button on any mobile device or hover over the Like button on desktop to see the image options. Users can then tap either Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, or Angry.

The functionality took over a year to perfect, according to Facebook, and was the result of many focus groups and surveys to make sure their new product was ready to go before releasing it to the public.

So now, no matter how you feel about a particular post on your Facebook news feed, you can express the way you feel.
