Heavy Traffic Expected Before CONCACAF Champions League Match At StubHub Center

CARSON (CBSLA.com) — LA Galaxy fans planning to go to the StubHub Center for Wednesday night's CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match against Mexico's Santos Laguna were urged to leave as early as possible to avoid heavy traffic.

Fans not arriving by 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. will risk missing the start of the game because heavy traffic and congested streets are expected, a Los Angeles Galaxy executive said.

Limited parking will be available because of parking for nighttime classes at Cal State Dominguez Hills, where StubHub Center is located.

Fans are encouraged to carpool. New Uber users can receive a discount by registering through the Galaxy at uber.com/go/lagalaxy16. Fans can be picked up and dropped off using Uber at the main entrance off Avalon Boulevard.

Parking Gates A and D will open at 2 p.m. with all other parking gates opening at 4 p.m. All stadium gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
