Woman Injured In Collision With Los Angeles Fire Department Ambulance
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A driver was injured Monday morning when her car collided with a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance in Lincoln Heights, authorities said.
The crash was reported at Broadway and Griffin Avenue at 3:14 a.m., according to an officer at Los Angeles Police Department's Central Traffic Division. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Firefighters cut the woman out of her sedan.
An investigation into the collision was underway. The ambulance was not responding to a call for service at the time of the collision.
