3.5 Magnitude Quake Rattles Inland Southern California

MORENO VALLEY (AP) — Parts of inland Southern California were rattled by a small earthquake overnight, but there were no reports of damage or injury.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the 3.5 magnitude quake hit at 1:01 a.m. Sunday six miles east of Moreno Valley in Riverside County.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of about 8 miles.

A sheriff's dispatcher says there have been no calls as a result of the quake.
