Rams RB Todd Gurley Named NFL's 2015 Offensive Rookie Of The Year

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley has been named as the NFL's 2015 Offensive Rookie of the Year, the league announced on Saturday.

Gurley had 1,106 total yards from scrimmage, while averaging 4.8 yards per carry and scoring 10 touchdowns.

The Rams twitter tweeted this image out congratulating Gurley.

 

The first-round draft pick earned 27 votes from a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who regularly cover the NFL.

He beat out top overall draft selection quarterback Jameis Winston of Tampa Bay, who received 17 votes.
