Vin Chokes Up, Prankster Gets Booted, Dakota Has Wardrobe Malfunction At People's Choice Awards

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Vin Diesel got emotional during his acceptance speech. A prankster caused a security scare. Dakota Johnson had a wardrobe malfunction.

Those were just some of the highlights from the 2016's People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night.

Vin Diesel got choked up during his speech when he accepted an award for "Furious 7" which was selected as Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie.

The actor said making "Furious 7" was a labor of love. "You'll be amazed what you can do with love. You'll be amazed how powerful a force that is. When we didn't want to come back to filming when the tragedy was heavy, it was the love of everyone combined that saw through to the end."

Diesel then finished his speech with an emotional tribute to his late friend and co-star Paul Walker. Diesel sang the first chorus of the song "See You Again."

"See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth was played in "Furious 7" to honor the life and memory of Walker, who died in a fiery car crash in Valencia on Nov. 30, 2013.

The ladies of The Talk faced a security scare when a wannabe rapper crashed their acceptance speech for Favorite Daytime Hosting Team. Sharon Osbourne literally kicked him off the stage.

Dakota Johnson had a wardrobe malfunction on stage. A presenter accidentally broke the back of Johnson's dress as she hugged Johnson, who was chosen as Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress.

But the actress took it in stride and said: "Leslie just broke dress. Well, it's not like nobody here hasn't already seen my boobs."
