Marquez Pleads Not Guilty To Conspiracy, Firearm Charges In San Bernardino Shootings
RIVERSIDE (AP) — A Southland man accused of providing the guns used in the San Bernardino terror attack plead not guilty Wednesday in federal court in Riverside.
Enrique Marquez Jr. appeared briefly Wednesday in federal court in Riverside, California, to answer to a five-count indictment alleging he conspired to provide material support to terrorists.
With his hands and feet shackled, the 24-year-old Marquez answered "not guilty" when asked for his plea.

A jury trial was set for Feb. 23. He faces 50 years behind bars if convicted.
Marquez was friends with Syed Rizwan Farook, one of the husband-and-wife attackers who killed 14 people and wounded 22 others on Dec. 2. The couple was later killed in a shootout with authorities.
