San Gabriel Man Found Floating In Huntington Harbor Dies 7 Days Later

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are investigating the death of a 27-year-old San Gabriel man found floating in Huntington Harbor.

Caanan So was discovered floating in the Marina near 16847 Bolero Lane on Dec. 12, according to the Orange County coroner's office. He was taken to a hospital, where he died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, seven days after he was found, according to the coroner's office.

So had attended a party near the Marina on the night he was found in the water, according to the coroner's office and the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
