Star Wars Fans Waiting In Line For Thursday's Premiere Brave The Rain

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Despite a heavy downpour, Star Wars fans continue to patiently wait in line for the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Fans have been camping out around the clock outside the Chinese theatre for the past 12 days.

Light sabers, and taking photos with C3po look-a-likes have helped most pass the time, while others dress in Star Wars onesie's to keep warm.

These fans will have to wait until Thursday to see the film like every other average fan.

However, the World Premiere will take place on Monday at the Chinese Theatre, when the cast of the film will walk down a massive red carpet, only fully visible from an aeriel view.

After years of waiting, the world will finally know if the movie lives up to all the hype it has received.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens officially opens in theatres on Thursday, December 17th.
