3 Shot After Fight Breaks Out At Party In Venice
VENICE (CBSLA.com) — Three people were shot at a party in Venice early Sunday morning.
The shooting occurred near Sixth Street and San Juan Avenue at around 1:30 a.m -- less than two blocks from a popular shopping and dining area on Abbot Kinney Blvd.
Police said the shooting took place amid a party with a DJ that was going on at a property rented through AirBnB.
A vehicle drove up, shots were fired into a crowd and someone in the crowd fired back, the LAPD said.
The shooting victims were expected to survive. No motive had been established as of Sunday morning.
