LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling appears to have become one of Donald Trump's latest critics.
She responded Tuesday to Trump's call to ban Muslims from entering the United States.
She tweeted: "How horrible. Voldemort was nowhere near as bad," referring to Harry Potter's evil villain.
Lord Voldemort is the character in the movie who aimed to rid the wizarding world of Muggles, or non-magic folks.
Trump released his proposal in the wake of the San Bernardino mass killing that left 14 people dead.
Despite the political firestorm caused by his comments – or perhaps because of it – Trump remains in the lead in the key state of Iowa for the Republican presidential nomination, CBS News reports.
