Driver Shot In Face In Car-To-Car Shooting In Pico-Rivera
PICO RIVERA (AP) — Los Angeles County sheriff's officials say a driver was shot in the face and his passenger suffered a graze wound to his leg in a car-to-car shooting in Pico Rivera.
Both men are expected to survive their gunshot wounds, Sgt. Harvey Crosthwaite said Sunday.
Crosthwaite says gunfire erupted as the suspect's vehicle pulled alongside of the victim's car late Saturday in the 10100 block of Whittier Boulevard.
Witnesses described the suspect's vehicle as a dark blue or black Nissan, City News Service reported.
