BurbankBus, Metro Expands NoHo-Airport Route For Thanksgiving Travel

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Service along the NoHo-Airport Route will be expanded for commuters traveling over Thanksgiving weekend, NoHo-Airport Route BurbankBus and Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) said Friday.

According to city officials, the expansion of the route aims to offer more transportation options and improve mobility for passengers traveling during the busy holiday weekend.

"We hope that, when making plans for the holiday weekend, travelers will consider the convenience of Metro buses and trains and their easy connection to Burbank Bob Hope Airport through the NoHo-Airport Route," said Metro CEO Phillip A. Washington.

The NoHo-Airport Route, which connects Burbank Bob Hope Airport and the Metro North Hollywood Station, is an all-day service that costs $1 each way. The fare is free for commuters who own  an EZ Transit Pass.

The route links the Metro Orange Line Express Bus, the Metro Red Line Subway, Metro Rapid and Metro local services to Burbank Bob Hope Airport.

Departures are offered every 15 minutes during the morning and afternoon commute periods, every 20 minutes during mid-day hours and every 45 minutes in the late evening.
