Ruptured Pipe Causes Flooding Near Silver Lake Apartment Complex

SILVER LAKE (CBSLA.com) — A 8-inch pipe burst in Silver Lake Thursday causing water to flood near an apartment complex.

According to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the water main ruptured around 3 a.m. located in the 2400 block of Glendale Boulevard.

Crews have turned water off in the area.

Twenty customers have been affected by the incident.

Authorities have closed two southbound lanes on Glendale Boulevard.
