Semi-Truck Slams Into Apartment Building In Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — A semi-truck slammed into an apartment building in Garden Grove on Monday afternoon, leaving one person with traumatic injuries.

The big rig truck had exited the 22 Freeway at Haster Street before plowing into the carport of the apartment complex.

Police and firefighters responded to the scene and transported at least one trauma victim to the hospital.

That victim was believed to be the driver of the truck, reported Stu Mundel in SKY9.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
