Kobe Bryant After Win: 'I'm A Laker For Life'

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — After the Lakers first win of the season against the Nets on Friday, Kobe Bryant remained adamant that his future will be with the Lakers and no one else.

"I've said it so many times. I'm here, I'm a Laker for life," Bryant said.

"I'm not playing anywhere else, no matter what. It's just not going to happen. I bleed purple and gold, and that's just how it's going to be," he added.

Bryant was answering questions about Phil Jackson when making these remarks.

Last Septemeber, Jackson told media, "I don't think it's his last year; it sounds like it may be his last year as a Laker."

When reminded of the comments on Friday, Bryant responded saying, "That's Phil baiting [the media] like he always does. He's a master at it."

The Lakers play the Knicks on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.
