Kobe Bryant Mocked For Woeful Shooting With 'NBA Jam'-Style Video

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Kobe Bryant will undoubtedly go down as one of the greatest scorers in NBA history.

But as a pure shooter? The jury is still out.

The 37-year-old future Hall of Famer looked a little rusty in his first four games of the 2015-16 season, which saw Bryant go 20-of-62 from the field - just above a dismal 32 percent.

He's also shooting an almost embarrassing 20 percent clip from long-range despite taking 8.5 three-point attempts per game.

Kobe's struggles have not escaped the notice of Laker fans or social media, spawning countless memes about the superstar's shot (or lack thereof).

Tuesday's home game against the Nuggets was a good summary of Bryant's, let's call it, inaccuracy.

Here he is hitting nothing but backboard:

This attempt from long-range was a tad short:

At least this shot had a little more oomph behind it. Maybe too much.

But it's a short clip done in the style of the popular 1990s arcade game "NBA Jam" that has really encapsulated Bryant's early-season struggles.

For what it's worth, Kobe reacted to his recent on-court performance by calling himself the "200th-best player in the league right now" .

"I freaking suck", he reportedly told ESPN.

After an 0-4 start to the season, Laker fans may find it hard to disagree with the Black Mamba right about now.
