Miller: 5 Awesome Things You Might Have Missed In Sports This Week

By: Gina Miller

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — CBS2/KCAL9's Gina Miller brings you five awesome things you may have missed in sports this week.

'Ram It' In All Its 80's NFL Music  Video Glory

If you have not seen the 80's NFL classic "Ram It" starring the 1986 LA Rams, stop what you're doing. Immediately. Watch this. Now.

Former Rams running back Eric Dickerson joined Jim Hill  on 5th Quarter Thursday night. We had to show this to, you know, illustrate Eric's rap skills.

Cougar Mascot Madness

I am a somewhat proud University of Houston alum. Although with their mascot being the Cougars, that takes on a new meaning when you're a woman.

Moving on.

Associate AD for Strategic Communication David Bassity pretended to be a U of H mannequin in the school's athletic offices. Needless to say, it was effective.

Ballmer & Cuban Kiss Cam

In case you missed this, you NEED to see this. The Clippers tried to get owner Steve Ballmer to kiss and make up with  Mavericks owner Mark Cuban after the DeAndre Jordan summer saga.

The two billionaires had some fun with it, but did you hear Cuban's remarks about the Clippers before the game?

"Look, the Clippers are the Clippers. You can change the players, you can change the owner, but the Clippers are who they've been for the last 30 years."

He added "I just don't give a s--- about the Clippers. Maybe that explains it"

Ouch.

Weird Al Nails It. Again.

Weird Al Yankovic is a freaking genius. His work borders along the line of social commentary.

He absolutely captured the generic clichés and sports talk that permeate post-game press conferences.

"Grizzled Coach," "Sad Reporter, Local Paper" guy, "Attractive Female, Sideline Report Major Sports Network" chick and "Obnoxious Reporter, Some East Coast Paper" dude?

All. Spot. On.

Because Fashion Is A Sport

And proof that the NBA season is back, we give you Russell Westbrook's sartorial highlights.

The Thunder guard is a fashion savant and isn't afraid to take risks. Or look like Where's Waldo.
