Museum's Day Of The Dead Celebration Pays Tribute To Late Singer Selena

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Sugar skulls and altars will be up front and center this weekend at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach.

The museum will kick off Dia De Los Muertos on Nov. 1 with the theme, "Fotos y Recuerdos," celebrating the memory and legacy of Tejano music artist Selena.

MOLAA's celebration will include the opening of the museum's second annual Art & Altar exhibition, a cooking demo and tasting and Day of the Dead-inspired face painting.

The museum is at 628 Alamitos Avenue in Long Beach.
