'Trumpkin' Goes Viral: Woman Crafts Pumpkin In Donald Trump's Likeness

Dublin, OHIO (CBSLA.com) — An artist in Ohio known for crafting gourds into celebrity caricatures has turned a 374-pound pumpkin into Donald Trump.

And, in true Trump fashion, the gourd sports his trademark bouffant.

Jeanette Paras, who spent 10 hours painting the "Trumpkin", says she chose the polarizing figure because of all the attention he's been getting as a Republican presidential candidate.

A sign on Paras' front lawn advertises the "Trumpkin" as "Make pumpkins great again!" - a play on Trump's slogan "Make America Great Again."

She's created other pumpkin caricatures of Miley Cyrus (complete with a wrecking ball), Lady Gaga, Steve Jobs and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

But pumpkin carving isn't just for political buffs: there's still time to pick out your own at one of several Southland pumpkin patches and transform it into your own "Trumpkin" - or something even scarier.
