It's Been 30 Years Since Whitney Houston First Topped Billboard Hot 100

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Monday marked the 30th anniversary since Whitney Houston first earned the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for her single "Saving All My Love For You."

The honor marked the beginning of several No. 1 singles for the singer, who went on to win six Grammy awards during her lifetime, including Best Vocal Performance for the 1985 hit.

Houston was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton on Feb. 11, 2012.
