Newlyweds Have Wedding Photos Stolen

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) A Yuba City couple was only married for a few hours when they were told some heartbreaking news by their wedding photographer.

The photographer, Valeria Harro, told the couple that all of the photos from their big day had been stolen, along with the photographer's gear, from a BJ's Brewhouse parking lot in Huntington Beach.

Thieves stole about $3,000 in cameras and equipment that were in the backseat of the car and trunk. Inside one of the cameras was a memory card containing the couple's wedding photos.

Many of the photos are irreplaceable.

"The photographer was the only person to get photos of us with his family," the bride, Laura Underwood said.

The couple now only has a few cell phone camera shots to remember their special day.

But they're hoping that whoever stole the memory card will return it anonymously to police, and allow the couple to relive their wedding day.

"I would like to have something later on to show the kids and the grandkids," said Mike Underwood, the groom.
