Scorsese Drops Christiano Ronaldo From Upcoming Movie

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Legendary film director Martin Scorsese has reportedly changed his mind about casting Real Madrid superstar Christiano Ronaldo in his upcoming movie called, The Manipulator.

The movie is about a rich Italian real estate agent named Alessandro Proto.

Proto claims that he was the inspiration for the movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey", after meeting the author of the book EL James in 2010.

Scoreses originally thought that Ronaldo's new home in Trump Tower would be an ideal filming location.

Ronaldo's new home previously belonged to Proto, and Scoresese supposedly promised him a small role in the film in exchange for the right to film there.

However, producers of the film reportedly thought that Ronaldo would attract too much attention and draw viewers away from the film itsel, Gazzetta World reports.

Channing Tatum is rumored to be the favorite to replace Ronaldo for the role in the movie.
