Step-Brother Arrested In Connection With Death Of Hemet Woman

HEMET (CBSLA.com) — Police on Saturday said they had arrested the step-brother of a woman who was found dead in Hemet on Friday in connection with the woman's death.

The Hemet Police Department said they arrested Edward Hill, 58, who was both the step-brother and roommate of Cynthia Bogan, 55, who was found dead on the 1100 block of Campus Way on Friday afternoon, near Jacob Wiens Elementary School in Hemet.

Bogan was killed at her Campus Way home sometime between Thursday night and early Friday morning, investigators said.

Hill was booked into custody on Saturday on one count of homicide and later transported to Riverside County jail on $1,000,000 bail.
