LA Call Center Company Settles Sexual Harassment Complaint

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles-based international call center company has agreed to pay $600,000 to settle sexual harassment complaints by male and female employees.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission announced the settlement Monday with VXI Global Solutions.

The EEOC says six women and three men employees were sexually propositioned, groped and shown offensive photos.

The agency says one female supervisor performed unwanted lap dances for a man in the office, who was accused of being gay after objecting.

The agency says those who complained were retaliated against and most were fired.

The company, which has 15,000 employees in the U.S., Asia and Latin America, did not admit wrongdoing in the settlement.
