Oscar De La Hoya Trolls Mayweather On Twitter

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya is clearly not a fan of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The Mexican-American who was born in Los Angeles took to the twittersphere last night to troll Mayweather during his fight with Andre Berto.

In what Mayweather insists was his last fight, he defeated Andre Berto by unanimous decision to improve his overall record to 49-0.

De La Hoya started the night off by saracastically saying how he is going to miss Mayweather's fights.

This was just the first tweet of the night from De La Hoya regarding Mayweather.  He retweeted ESPN host Michelle Beadle's tweet calling Mayweather trash.

Once fans inquired as to what De La Hoya was up to when the Mayweather fight was underway, the boxing legend enlightened fans with this response.

With just two rounds to go in the fight, De La Hoya replied to a fightnews.com tweet that said, "two more rounds and Floyd will be retired... allegedly", with this simple two word response:

De La Hoya concluded his epic night of tweeting by proclaiming that the worst era in boxing history is over.

Needless to say, De La Hoya and Mayweather won't be having family dinners together anytime soon.

Mayweather defeated Andre Berto last night to improve his career record to 49-0.
