Hit-And-Run Driver Plows Through Rosemead Flower Shop, Injuring Resident In Rear Apartment

ROSEMEAD (CBSLA.com) — A driver apparently lost control of their vehicle early Wednesday and rammed 50 feet into a flower shop, badly injuring a resident in a rear apartment, according to officials.

It happened shortly before 5 a.m. on Garvey and Walnut Grove avenues, in Rosemead, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The victim was taken to the hospital. That person's condition was not yet known.

The car hit four other people living inside the building, the LACFD reported.

The driver reportedly fled the scene and was arrested a short time later.
