Arson Investigators Seek Suspect In 3 Beverly Glen Fires

BEVERLY GLEN (CBSLA.com) Arson investigators on Thursday afternoon were asking for the public's help in searching for the person responsible for starting three grass fires in the Beverly Glen area.

Around 1 p.m. Thursday, Los Angeles Firefighters responded to three small grass fires between the 3300 and 3500 block of Beverly Glen Boulevard.

Police arrested a transient who they thought could have started the fires by flicking cigarette butts, but they later released the man.

Anyone with information on the fires was being asked to contact LAFD arson investigators at (213) 893-9850.
