Mexican Restaurant In Sun Valley Already Beset By Break-Ins Hit By Arsonist
SUN VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a Mexican restaurant in Sun Valley already beset by a series of break-ins has now been hit by an arsonist.
The fire did heavy damage to Rocio's Mole de los Dioses causing a roof collapse, officials said.
Police said someone lit magazines on fire and torched the eatery located in the 8200 block of Sunland Boulevard.
The fire also destroyed the kitchen.
A restaurant employee told reporters that the restaurant has endured four break-in in just the past two months.
The restaurant will be closed for at least six months to make necessary repairs. At least 20 people are temporarily left without jobs.
