Rosemead Man, 19, Charged With More Than 150 Counts Including Revenge Porn, Lewd Acts

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said a 19-year-old Rosemead man has been charged with more than 150 counts including engaging in revenge porn, possessing child porn and committing lewd acts.

Officials say Cesar Mauricio Estrada-Davila posed as a modeling agent who would allegedly scam young girls into sending him naked photos of themselves.

Estrada-Davila faces 109 felony and 42 misdemeanor counts. In addition to the aforementioned charges he's also accused of extortion.

According to the district attorney's office, the suspect has pleaded not guilty and is due back in court Sept. 2.

Prosecutors said Estrada-Davila reached out to young girls on a social media website between January and April, claiming to be a modeling agent. He apparently told the young women he could make them famous. He would then allegedly ask the girls to send them photos of themselves in their underwear.

After receiving those photos, he allegedly threatened to forward the pictures to the girls' friends and family unless they also sent him nude photos of
themselves, prosecutors said.

The DA told KCAL9's Amber Lee that one of the first alleged victims -- who lives in Palmdale -- eventually told her parents.

Prosecutors said they know of 21 alleged victims. The girls range in age between 12 and 17.

The DA submitted 15,000 pages of Facebook documents obtained by a search warrant, Lee reported.

Estrada-Davila faces multiple life sentences if convicted, prosecutors said.

Bail for Estrada-Davila was set at $3 million.
