Pipe Bursts In Westlake District Office Building

WESTLAKE (CBSLA.com) — Crews on Thursday worked to repair a pipe that burst inside of an office building in the Westlake District.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, crews were sent early this morning to an office building located on West 8th Street near the corner of South Alvardo Street.

Upon their arrival, firefighters learned that a pipe burst on either the roof or the fourth floor of the building.

Authorities plan to assess the damage done to the building after the flooding has been cleaned up.

No one was inside of the building at the time of the break.
