Dunkin' Donuts Opens Location In Culver City

CULVER CITY (CBSLA.com) — Customers waited in line on Tuesday in anticipation of the grand opening of Dunkin' Donuts in Culver City.

At 5 a.m., the restaurant opened its doors to the public, located at 13300 Washington Boulevard.

"We're overwhelmed by the excitement surrounding Dunkin' Donuts in the Los Angeles area," said Monica Apodaca, Senior Field Marketing Manager, Dunkin' Brands. "We're confident that this location will be well-received by residents and tourists alike."

Store employees rolled out a pink carpet for attendees to stand on as they waited in line to be served.

According to Dunkin' Donuts, the first person in line received free coffee for one year and the first 100 guests that were served received a tote bag filled with special items.

"The response we received for our Santa Monica location was incredible and we're thrilled to continue building upon the unbelievable passion for Dunkin' Donuts in the Los Angeles area," said Dunkin' Donuts franchisee Gary Haar. "Our diverse menu offers something for everyone, whether it's hot or iced coffee, lattes, frozen beverages, sandwiches or delicious baked goods."

The location reached DD Green Achievement, and includes energy and water saving features such as atmospheric LED lights, high-performance windows and low-flow faucets.

The restaurant also features lounge-style seating, an outdoor patio, a digital menu and free Wi-Fi Internet access.

Dunkin' Donuts was founded in 1950.
