Reality Star Kim Richards Arrested On Suspicion Of Shoplifting From Target Store

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — Reality star Kim Richards has been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from a Target store in Van Nuys.

Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department said Richards was arrested just before 4 p.m. Sunday.

Lopez said Richards was taken to Van Nuys Jail, where she was booked on a charge of shoplifting.

Her bail had been set at $5,000. She was released shortly before 2 p.m. Monday.

The arrest marked Richards' second this year.

In April, the former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'" star and child actress was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel after displaying symptoms of intoxication, police said.

Richards had been accused in that incident of kicking an officer in the leg.
