Rousey Guarantees Win Saturday Against Correia

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Ronda Rousey guaranteed that she would hand challenger Bethe Correia her "most devastating loss" yet.

The two fighters will square off Saturday night in Brazil at the HSBC Arena, as the 11-0 Rousey looks to defend her bantamweight title.

During the UFC 190 official weigh-in, Rousey came in at the maximum 135 pounds, while Correia weighed in at 134 pounds.

Afterward during the final stare down, Correia screamed into Rousey's face, while the defending champion kept a fierce look on her face without responding.

Correia is 3-0 in her UFC career, and the fight became personal when she previously remarked how Rousey would "kill herself" if she lost.

Rousey's father took his own life when she was just 8.

Rousey is a 17-1 favorite in most of Las Vegas' casinos, and if the odds stick by fight time, it would be the biggest betting favorite in the history of UFC.

"You're not going to be disappointed," Rousey said. "I'm going to give you the best women's title fight you've ever seen, the most devastating loss you've ever seen from Bethe, and my best win."

The fight is scheduled to air on pay-per-view at 10 p.m.  but could run late depending on the fights before the headliner featuring Rousey and Correia.
