Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (July 14)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Expect a relatively quiet weather week ahead, however, things will change up a bit for the weekend.

The low clouds are starting to build in again on Tuesday. Temperatures will drop a couple of degrees from Monday's highs.

Consistent weather is expected through Friday with clouds in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon. The Valleys should remain relatively clear.

By the weekend, a combination of factors will create a different situation. High pressure will expand west, bringing the return of the monsoonal flow. This will combine with some residual tropical moisture from Hurricane Dolores.

That means there is a chance for some thunderstorms along with hot and humid conditions on Saturday, Sunday and even Monday.
