'Humpback Whales' Director Visits KCAL9

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Director Greg MacGillivray visited KCAL9 Saturday to discuss his new movie, "Humpback Whales."

The film takes audiences whale-watching all over the world, journeying to the South Pacific, Hawaii and Alaska.

"It's a beautiful film, and in IMAX 3D you get a sense of being there right next to the animal," MacGillivray said. "You feel like you can reach out and touch them. It's an exceptional experience."
