Water Main Ruptures In Northridge

NORTHRIDGE (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews Wednesday worked to repair a water main that ruptured in Northridge.

Shortly before 4:30 a.m., a 6-inch pipe burst in the 10500 block of Yolanda Avenue and San Jose Street.

Crews have shut off water in the area.

According to LADWP crews, five services were effected by the incident.

No street damage occurred as a result of the break.
