Crews Work To Repair Water Main Break In Boyle Heights

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Crews Tuesday worked to repair a water main that ruptured in a residential neighborhood in Boyle Heights.

According to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, crews were sent shortly after 1 a.m. to East 8th Street near South Grande Vista Avenue.

City officials explained about 800 gallons of water flowed into the streets.

Crews were able to stop the flow of water in the area. Around 5 a.m., crews began making repairs to the water main.
