Indecent Exposure Suspect Sought In Torrance

TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — Police Friday sought the public's help to identify a man who exposed himself to several teenagers on two different occasions in Torrance.

Around 6:45 a.m. on May 12, an unknown man pulled up beside a 16-year-old girl as she walked her dogs in the area of Spencer Street and Wood Avenue.

According to the Torrance Police Department, the suspect then exposed himself to the victim.

Shortly after noon on April 3, two 13-year-old girls observed a vehicle slow down and pull along the curb next to them in the area of Halison Street and Ingrum Way.

Officers said the victim called out to the two girls, exposed himself, and then fled as the victims ran from the area.

Detectives described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his mid 20s to 30s who has black short hair with stubble facial hair.

Authorities said the suspect was reportedly clean-shaven during one incident, and had facial hair during the other incident.

He wore a white T-shirt with jeans during one crime, and a dark hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans in the other crime.

Police said the suspect drove a silver four-door Ford sedan with unknown California license plates.
