23-Year-Old Woman Missing In Simi Valley Found

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com)   —   The Simi Valley Police Department says a "critical missing" 23-year-old woman was found Saturday around 5:30 p.m.

Karishma Jayesh Khatri, who turns 24 on the 14th of this month, had last been seen at her residence in the 1700 block of First Street in Simi Valley on June 5th at approximately 6:20 a.m.

The once missing woman left home without her purse, wallet (including cash), and identification. She may have left on foot, as she did not have access to a vehicle.

Police said the circumstances surrounding Khatri's disappearance are still under investigation and will release more details about how and why she went missing early next week. They declined to also say how or where she was found.

They said no further details would be released until that time.
