Man Listed In Critical Condition After Being Shot In Pomona; Suspect At Large

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — A 27-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition Friday after being shot multiple times in Pomona.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m., officers were sent to the 600 block of Abbey Lane for report of numerous shots heard in the area.

Upon their arrival, police located a Hispanic man lying in an alley way, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics transported him to a hospital where he remains listed in critical condition.

"There is no known motive or suspect information at this time," explained Lt. Chuck Becker.

The investigation is ongoing.
