Man Arrested In Stabbing Of Victorville Father
VICTORVILLE (CBSLA.com) — Deputies have arrested a man suspected of throwing a rock at a teenager's car and stabbing the girl's stepfather.
Richard Ritter, 36, was stabbed in the stomach after he confronted the man at a Victorville parking lot Saturday, according to authorities.
Investigators say Ritter was taken to a hospital with three stab wounds and was flown to a nearby trauma center, where he remained in an intensive-care unit Monday night.
Ritter's wife, Amber Hilton, says she still doesn't know what provoked the attack.
"My husband was mad. She pays for her own car. She's a hard-working kid. She brought it by herself," Hilton said, adding that her husband's pain is "at a 10."
"He feels like death," she said.
Deputies arrested a man suspected in the stabbing but could not provide further details.
