Public's Help Sought In Search For Missing Antelope Valley Mom

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities were asking for the public's help Monday in locating a 27-year-old mother from the Palmdale area who went missing two weeks ago.

Monique Figueroa was last seen driving away from her home May 19 in the 7200 block of East Avenue U-12 in Little Rock, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's homicide detectives.

A 2004 burgundy colored Mercedes Benz belonging to Figueroa was recovered Saturday in the Palmdale area.

Figueroa, who reportedly has a 2-year-old daughter, is described as 5'03" tall, 140 lbs., with shoulder length brown hair and hazel eyes. It is unknown what type of clothing she was wearing.

Detective say Figueroa's family is "very concerned" and is hoping for the public's help in locating her.
