Meat With False Inspection Marks From Garden Grove Company Recalled
GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — Hundreds of thousands of pounds of meat from a Garden Grove company that was never inspected have been recalled.
Lee's Sandwiches, which has several restaurants in Southern California, wrongly put the USDA mark of inspection on more than 213,000 pounds of chicken, beef and pork.
The products were sent to stores and restaurants in several states, including California.
There are no reports of anyone getting sick.
