Help Needed To Identify Armed Men In Fontana Liquor Store Robbery

FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — Police say two men are at large Tuesday after robbing a Fontana liquor store at gunpoint.

A liquor store in the 17300 block of Arrow Boulevard was robbed Monday at about 10:28 p.m., Fontana police officials said.

Two suspects backed a newer model silver Infiniti FX35 with paper plates backed into a parking spot in front of the store, ran into the store, then one of them pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the two clerks and demanded they open the safe, police said. When the clerk was not able to open the safe, the suspects went behind the counter and took an undetermined amount of cash from the register.

They fled the area and were last seen eastbound on Arrow, police said.

Both suspects were described as dark-skinned men, wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black pants and dark sunglasses. The first suspect was about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds and wore a white bandanna, while the second suspect was described as about 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, and wearing a black bandanna.
