Police Investigating Hit-And-Run Into A Fire Hydrant In Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday were investigating a hit-and-run in Arlington Heights.

A vehicle struck a fire hydrant around 3:30 a.m. on Venice Boulevard near Arlington Avenue, according to police.

The hydrant was completely sheared off and water was seen flowing all over the area.

The driver fled the scene.

No further details were released.
