Man Arrested After Police Said He Exposed Himself To Elementary School Students In Riverside

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — A 25-year-old man was in custody Tuesday in exposing himself to elementary school students in Riverside.

According to the Riverside Police Department, officers have been investigating two separate incidents since April regarding a man making inappropriate comments to children.

During one incident, the man exposed himself to students at Mark Twain Elementary School, police explained.

On Monday, Logan Nighswonger was subsequently arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on two misdemeanor counts of child molestation and one count of indecent exposure.

Detectives said Nighswonger drove an older, dark Chevrolet van, which matched the description provided by students.

A preliminary investigation has led officers to believe these incidents may have occurred at additional schools, including elementary schools in Corona.

Police have sought the public's help to identify other possible victims.

Anyone with additional information regarding this investigation is urged to contact the Riverside Police Department at (951) 826-5638.
